Applied AI Engineer

At Aurorise AI, we help Malaysian businesses grow smarter using AI automation — from dental clinics to automotive dealerships and everything in between. We're looking for an Applied AI Engineer who doesn't just understand AI — but knows how to put it to real use. This is not a research role. You'll be building, deploying, and improving AI-powered systems that solve real business problems for real clients.

Role Overview

This role focuses on practical AI implementation and automation for SME clients across Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy AI agents, chatbots, and automation workflows for SME clients across Malaysia.
• Integrate AI tools (LLMs, voice agents, RAG pipelines) into CRM platforms and business systems.
• Build and maintain knowledge bases, prompt templates, and AI training datasets.
• Work closely with delivery to turn client briefs into working AI solutions — fast.
• Test and evaluate continuously to improve AI outputs for accuracy, tone, and performance.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and create measurable value for clients.
• Stay up to date with the latest AI tools and bring the best ones to the team.

Requirements

AI Foundations

• Solid understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, etc.)

Automation Tools

• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Make.com, Zapier, n8n, or similar

Integration Skills

• Comfortable working with APIs, webhooks, and integrating AI into third-party platforms

Coding Proficiency

• Ability to write clean, readable code in Python or JavaScript

Communication

• Strong communicator who can explain technical ideas to non-technical clients

Ownership Mindset

• Self-starter who takes ownership and follows through

Education

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in AI development or automation. Fresh graduates with strong project work or internship experience are welcome.
